DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION
The Madonna of the Rosary, attributed to the school of the Sienese painter Sebastiano Folli, is located inside the Church of San Giovanni Battista in Farnetella.
Although some local sources and tourist guides have historically described it as a fresco, the work is actually an oil on canvas.

The work is attributed to the school of Sebastiano Folli, an important Sienese artist who lived between the 16th and 17th centuries.
It depicts the Virgin Mary with the Rosary, surrounded by figures of saints, including St. John the Baptist himself, who is also the patron saint to whom the church in which it is located is dedicated.
